Homeschool class on Farm Life The October 3 homeschool class at the Wayne County Old Jail Museum is about life on the farm. It starts at 10:30. Children, ages 6-12, may register for this one-hour class where they will learn about life on the farm. Guest lecturer, Town of Lyons Historian Carol Bailey, will describe her life growing up on a farm and compare that to farm life today. Children will also complete a project that will let them experience what life for a child on a farm 100 years ago would be. The cost for this class is $2 per student for Society members, $4 per student for non-members, and pre-registration is necessary. There will be no overflow classes scheduled for the class.
