Still recovering from storm
bartle ave., newark

Things are slowly returning to normal since last week's ice storm. Most residents have had power restored and Wayne County schools are back in session, with the exception of North Rose-Wolcott and Williamson.

Electric crews are still out tending to problems caused by the storm, and electricians are busy re-attaching power lines to homes and businesses. Clean up of debris may take awhile, as streets are lined with piles of brush and limbs.

The County remains in a State of Emergency, along with neighboring Monroe and Ontario counties. There also remains in effect a Water Conservation Advisory.

Cold temps and snow showers are again in today's forecast.
