Class April 17 on making scrapbooks

The Wayne County Historical Society is offering a scrapbooking class at the Old Jail Museum Thursday, April 17 at 7 p.m.

Using archival quality materials, Meyrick Peterson will help attendees choose, crop and lay out scrapbook pages so that the photographs will be preserved, protected and presented in a format that will be enjoyed for years to come.

The cost is $10, which includes all materials needed. Bring six to eight photographs to class; participants will leave with a completed page and the knowledge to continue creating a family treasures.
