Homeschool session at County Museum

An overflow class for the homeschool session on World War II has been scheduled for May 2 at 10:30 a.m.

Homeschooled children, ages 6-12, may register for this 1-hour program where they will use a world map and a timeline to learn about the important events and people of World War II. Activities during class will include learning and using codes and conducting a jet-powered flight test. As part of a discussion of everyday life during World War II, students will produce a short 'radio' drama with sound effects.

$3 per student for Wayne County Historical Society members, $4 per student for non-members, and pre-registration is necessary. 946.4943, Tuesday-Friday, 10-4.
