'Paws' campaign helps shelter

The Paws for a Cause campaign starts tomorrow (May 1). PAW prints to support the Humane Society of Wayne County will be on sale in and around Wayne County at all participating veterinary clinics, the shelter, and at many stores and businesses.

Volunteers will be selling PAWs at:

  • Bob's Big M (Wolcott)
  • Breen's IGA (both Williamson and Palmyra)
  • Loson's Big M (Lyons)
  • L.W. Emporium (Ontario)
  • Marion Shur-Fine Food Mart
  • Paton's Super Duper (Sodus)
  • Palmyra Country Max
  • P&C Food Markets (both Macedon and Clyde).

PAWS are sold for a dollar each and the donor may honor a special human or pet by writing their name on the PAW. The PAW will be displayed throughout the month of May at the shelter or place where the PAW is purchased.

PAWS will be available at the Humane Society's Open House to be held on Sunday, May 18.

Print one from the web site www.hswaynepets.org and mail your PAW with a dollar to:

PAWS For A Cause, c/o Humane Society of Wayne County, 1475 County House Road, Lyons, NY 14489.
