Sarah Coventry program at Newark Museum A program will be given by Kay Oshel of Missouri, author of Sarah Coventry Jewelry, Wednesday, August 13 at 7:30 p.m., at the Arcadia Historical Museum on High Street. Oshel, a collector of Sarah Coventry and Emmons jewelry and a former Fashion Show Director, will discuss the making of her book. 'Attractive and versatile, Sarah Coventry jewelry was produced from 1949 through 1984 and is extremely popular with today's collectors.' (Schiffer Books) The museum will be open and includes a C.H Stuart Co. room with a wonderful display of jewelry and related items. Oshel's book will be available for purchase. 331.6409. Summer hours are Tuesdays, 7-9 p.m. and Saturdays, noon to 3, and always by appointment. The museum is located across the street from the Newark Public Library and Hoffman Clock Museum. Admission is free.
