Bible Schools in Sodus, Newark

The Bible Baptist Church of Sodus invites children to dive into God's love at SCUBA - a Super Cool Undersea Bible Adventure.

'This year our church is bubbling with excitement as we dive into a Super Cool Undersea Bible Adventure,' says Pastor Vansant. 'On this adventure, kids will find a break from tedious schoolwork.'

SCUBA runs August 18-22. 'Divers' will meet at Bible Baptist Church of Sodus, 6181 Ridge Road, daily from 9 until noon. For information, call 483.9886.

The SCUBA program will provide fun, memorable Bible-learning activities for preschoolers to 5th graders. Each day kids will sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, nibble tasty treats from Dive-in Diner, experience electrifying Bible adventures, and create Bible Point Crafts they'll take home and play with all summer long.

In Newark, the Super Cool Undersea Bible Adventure takes place at Park Presbyterian Church, August 18-22, 9 to noon. This adventure is sponsored by Together in Christ. For information call Dean at 331.2255, Dan at 331.3895 or Jeanette at 331.6753.

Newark Assembly of God is having VBS Wednesday through Friday evenings, 6:30 to 8:30, August 13 to 15. The title is Nick at Night, TV Time. Children ages four to 12 are invited for music, stories, crafts games, puppets, snacks and more. This is free, open to the public. Call for information or a ride: 331.2405.
