'Friends' welcome Irish Dancers

Just Single Friends extends a special thank you to the Mahoney Irish Steppers who recently performed at a group meeting. The talent and enthusiasm displayed by these young people was enjoyed by everyone.

Single Friends meet the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 7 p.m.

The August 20 meeting is at the Arcadia Historical Museum at 120 High Street in Newark. Beginning in September, the group will be back at Alex Eligh Community Center located at 303 East Avenue.

Future meetings include Auction Mania on August 20 and Crazy Bingo on September 3. Bill Schmidt will be the guest speaker on working in prisons on September 17. The group will receive an overview of the master plan for Wayne County on October 1 and the 'scary' fun returns at a Halloween Bash on October 15.

Please join the group at Connelly's Cove at 2 on August 24 and at the Gaither's Homecoming Concert 'Let Freedom Ring' tour on November 8.
