Tea for teachers at WCHS

The Wayne County Historical Society is hosting a Teachers Tea at the Old Jail Museum, Butternut St., Lyons, on Tuesday, August 26, from 1-3 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to familiarize Wayne County teachers and principals with the programs, tours, and publications the Society is making available to area schools for the 2003/2004 school year.

Teachers of all grades are welcome, but the programs dealing with local history are most relevant to fourth, fifth, and seventh grade teachers.
