Grace Church Christmas Market

The Christmas Market at Historic Grace Church, Lyons has been a local tradition for nearly 100 years. This year the market will be held on Saturday, December 6, from 10 to 2 in the Parish House, corner of Geneva and Lawrence Streets in Lyons.

Members of the parish began planning in January for the Market that will feature crafts and Christmas ornaments. Table decorations, wreaths, and swags fashioned from fresh evergreens will be available to purchase as will home baked cakes, cookies, breads, pies, candy, jams, and jellies.

The famous Yuletide luncheon offers three types of homemade soups: French Onion, Manhattan Clam Chowder, and Minestrone. A choice of ham, tuna or egg salad sandwiches, all freshly made, will be available. Dessert consists of homemade pies. A beverage is also included in the price of the lunch.

Each year a raffle is held with the prizes made or donated by members of the parish. This year the prizes are a Gourmet Food Basket, a collectible Santa Claus, etc.
