Wow! Didn't we have a blizzard last Saturday? As we say, 'It blew and snew and then it thew.'

Thanks to Don Leno who has passed along his service uniform for our museum collection.

Martha Heald of Sodus celebrated her 80th birthday in October at Ponderosa in Geneva. Celebrating with her were her daughters Valorie McDonald and Ruby Frey of Sodus, and Dolly Salerno of Marion.

The United Church School will be presenting 'A Christmas Story- A Beautiful Baby Boy' on Sunday. There will be a potluck dinner in the Margaret Curtis Fellowship Hall at 5:30. The program will follow at 7 p.m. in the sanctuary.

Tomorrow - December 6 - Christmas in Marion bazaar and bake sale at United Methodist Church. Marion Museum - Holiday Open House is from 10 until 2.

Sharon Varalli and her father have made the new Advent wreath and dedicated it to the members of the United Church family. The Schutt and Mulhern families made the beautiful manger scene outside of the downtown church.

December 7, 1933: Beet workers at the Wayne County Canning Company enjoyed a chicken dinner at the home of Fred Hodges on Tuesday.

The 5th and 6th grade chorus will sing in their winter concert on Thursday, December 18 in the school auditorium. The 73-voice chorus will perform a variety of songs. Students will sing seasonal songs in duets. Linda Bush is the accompanist and Phyllis Stock is the director. Come and enjoy an evening of singing.
