Sodus community Christmas dinner

Everyone is invited to attend a Christmas dinner which will be hosted by the Sodus Nutrition Site on Thursday, December 18, starting at 11:30.

A traditional holiday ham dinner is prepared and served by volunteers. Donations from community members, area churches and businesses make for a joyous holiday gathering. Call Betty Mayou to make a dinner reservations at 483.8362.

Snuggley Sweaters Collected by the Sodus Rotary will be distributed. The sweaters are available in an assortment of styles and sizes for all ages.

The nutrition site is located at the United Third Methodist Church, 56 West Main Street. Sodus and is handicapped accessible. The dining room is reached by using the rear door of the church from the parking lot and then going down the stairs to the right.

The site is sponsored by Home Meal Service which contributes to the wellness of Wayne County residents by assisting with their nutritional and social needs.

Hot meals are served Monday through Friday except holidays and the fourth Thursday of each month, to anyone in need of a hot meal and/or fellowship.
