Step Dancers entertain at DeMay

Mahoney School of Irish Dance students put on quite a show yesterday afternoon. They danced for residents and staff at DeMay Living Center in Newark. Earlier, they performed at the Adult Day Care program at the Newark Hospital.

Maureen Mahoney (365.2711) is the dance school teacher.

The dancers are from Savannah, North Rose, Red Creek, Cato, Wolcott, Huron, Sodus, Rose and Fair Haven.

The troop includes young people ages eight to 18. The lively dancers dress in traditional Irish garb and are becoming well known in the Wayne County community.
