Happenings On February 14 from 2-4 p.m., guests at the Marion Museum will be able to view the lovely three-drawer oak desk that once graced the home of Margaret Curtis and her family before her. Margaret was born September 23, 1905 in an upstairs bedroom in her family's home on Mill Street in Marion. She is no longer with us, but we have this beautiful piece of furniture as a remembrance of this lovely woman and her family whose roots were in Marion. The home on Mill Street in Marion of Margaret S. Curtis was built by William S. Curtis in 1877 and was purchased in 1890 by Scott and Nellie Curtis.
