Family chosen for Sodus Habitat house
Patricia Hall and her children, Akilah, Shaniece, Shaodel, and Tyrese

Habitat for Humanity of Wayne County has selected a family for its next construction project.

Patricia Hall of Sodus and her four children, Akilah, Shaniece, Shaodel, and Tyrese, were chosen based on their level of need, their willingness to partner with the organization, and their ability to repay the no-interest mortgage. Hall says she is blessed to have been selected for the house and is grateful to all those who have been praying for her family.

The proposed home, number 20 for Wayne Habitat for Humanity, will be built in Sodus. Groundbreaking is proposed for this spring.

Habitat for Humanity of Wayne County, incorporated in 1988, is an ecumenical Christian organization whose goal is to eliminate sub-standard housing one house at a time by providing simple, decent, affordable housing for God's people in need.
