Next week at Lyons Library

Lyons Public Library will be holding programs for children ages six and older, February 18- 21. (Schools will be closed for the week.)

Craft programs will be offered on Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 18 and 19 at 1 p.m. Children will create a different craft each day and enjoy playing a fun game afterwards.

On Thursday, Feb. 20 at 1 p.m., children will write and illustrate stories with help from library staff. Afterwards, they will play a short game.

A party will be held Friday, Feb. 21 at 1 p.m. The movie Snow Cat will be shown. It is about a girl named Elsie who wishes for a pet and gets a magical snow cat created by the North Wind. A fun game will be played after the short movie and cookies and hot chocolate will be served.
