Williamson pastor accepts new call Reverend Mike Capron will be leaving the Williamson community on February 28. He has accepted the position of interim pastor of the Chili Presbyterian Church. It is with sadness that Rev. Mike leaves the Williamson Church, but with gladness that he is able to discern God's call. He has been an integral part in the growth of members of the congregation. He reached out to the community through the Williamson Fellowship of Churches and the Come-Unity Center. He also played an important part in the Presbyterian Church's participation in the Apple Blossom Festivals. Pastor Mike graduated from Columbia Theological Seminary in Atlanta, Georgia in 1998. Shortly after graduation, he was installed and ordained as a minister of word and sacrament here in Williamson on July 19, 1998. His wife, Lynn Rubier-Capron, who graduated from the same seminary in 1998, is the pastor of the Dewey Avenue Presbyterian Church in Rochester. As well as being interim pastor, the Rev. Capron will continue to participate in the Whitefield Society that meets once a month in Fairport. The members of the First Presbyterian Church at 4057 Main Street, Williamson, invite you to attend his last service at 10:15 a.m. on February 23. A coffee hour fellowship follows the worship service.
