Happenings Tulips: 'Truly Unique Ladies In Purple Society.' On February 8, the 'Tulips' of the Red Hat Society met at the Quality Inn for lunch before traveling to the Wayne County Nursing Home. Former Marion resident Mark Fischer is recuperating at his Reston, VA home following a lengthy hospital stay. Fred Rachow has returned home after a hospital stay. Dick Murphy was able to happily return to work on Monday as Marion's crossing guard. Family Roller Skating is this evening from 7-8:30, sponsored by the Marion PTA, at the school.
