Civil War program in Lyons

A lecture will be held March 1 at 2:30 at the Wayne County Old Jail Museum, 21 Butternut Street, Lyons. The speaker will be Frank VanVertlow, Captain of 111th New York and a Civil War Reenactor. Captain VanVertlow will tell the audience what Civl War reenactors do and why they do it.

The public is invited to attend this first, in a series of four, Civil War lectures; reservations are required as seating space is limited.

Call 946.4943, Tuesday to Friday, from 10 to 4. Zappia Vending Service Inc. and the Historical Society will provide refreshments for the event.
