Brian and Jill Adriaansen and sons, Craig and Derek spent the last snowy weekend at Aunt Janet and Uncle Dennis Heslink in Clymer. It was a traditional winter family gathering.

John and Eileen Ballesty have returned from a month's winter vacation in Las Vegas where they enjoyed 75-degree weather, the warmest January in history. They toured the Grand Canyon and visited the museum at Death Valley.

Cyril Smith continues to recover from recent surgery.

Kay Vanderlinde is home after a hospital stay.

Famine News: World Vision's 30-Hour famine is approaching. Young people from United Church will be joining with others in the First Baptist Church in Geneva Friday evening, February 28 and remaining until 7:30 Saturday evening. they will stay overnight at the YMCA, where basketball, volleyball and swimming will be available. On Saturday they will be involved in such mission projects as going to group homes, nursing homes, lunch programs (serving, not eating) and child care.

February 17, 1955: A dedication service for the recently completed building addition and the remodeled basement at the Second Reformed church of Marion will be held on Sunday.

Don Leno is recuperating at home following a hospital stay.

Sue Devlin tells me her Christmas cactus is blooming again.
