Scrapbooking workshop at Museum Do you have a box or drawer full of photographs waiting be cataloged or placed in albums? Do you have photos that once had a story to tell but now leave you wondering, 'Who are those people and what are they doing?' Start the New Year off right and learn to become the memory keeper for your family. On Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 7 p.m. the Wayne County Historical Society is offering a scrapbooking workshop at the Old Jail Museum, 21 Butternut St., Lyons. Instructor Myrick Peterson, will teach participants how to simply and safely preserve their family photos and create beautiful, informative story albums that will be cherished for generations to come. The cost for the workshop is $10 and all the materials necessary to make cropping and mounting photos a snap will be provided. Participants are asked only to bring 8 to 10 photos appropriate to the workshop theme - Christmas and the Winter Season. Registration is necessary as class size is limited.
