Ringing in New Year at Newark Grange

Over 50 revelers gathered at the Newark Grange on New Year's Eve for dinner and games. There were six tables for Euchre while others played Uno, Scrabble, other card games, or worked on a jigsaw puzzle.

Allan Mallette served up a mouth-watering stuffed pork roast, and the buffet table was loaded with dish-to-pass favorites, each one different. When bellies were full, everyone adjourned to the hall for an evening of games.

Awards were given to both low and high scores in Euchre. Everyone brought snacks to munch on throughout the evening and then bottles of sparkling white grape juice were uncorked to ring in 2003.
