Activities planned for Newark kids Newark parents who are looking for entertainment for their children will be pleased to hear that another round of 'Kids Night Out' events will be held January 25, February 8, February 15, February 28 and March 1. Kids in grades 3-5 can participate at the Newark High school from 5-8 p.m. For a $5 fee, students have an opportunity to use the school gym, watch movies in the auditorium, por participate in other activities and games. Supervision will be provided by Head Football and Baseball coach Mike McGavisk along with other coaches and players. It is suggested that students bring an additional $5 for food. Food will include pizza, soda, candy bars, popcorn, water, etc. A similar activity will be held for middle school kids on January 31 and March 7 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Newark Middle School. The cost is the same and will be for grades 6-8.
