Kimberly Hale was an Academic Honor Student for fall semester at Hilbert College in Hamburg.

You may not believe it but, I've just enjoyed an article about women who clean too much.

John and Fran VanStaalduinen have announced the birth of their first grandbaby, Zoe Jolee, daughter of Holley and Christopher Dumond of Manitowaning, Ontario, Canada. Congratulations!

January 27, 1928: The Gas Engine School has been set for February 6, 7 and 8. The school will be held in the high school garage. at the end of the 3-day program, any person taking the instruction will have knowledge necessary to make ordinary repairs.

Happy 62nd wedding anniversary wishes to Ed and Doris Krocke on January 25.

Today is the family Roller Skating Party, sponsored by the Marion PTA in the Marion Elementary School gym. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Ministry of Music at the Second Reformed Church on Jan. 19, was presented by Rachel Bailey and Sarah Hasland.

Ernie Boss is recuperating following eye surgery.

Bev Troutman is home following surgery on her hand.
