Happenings Helen Dingman, Mary Ann Lane and Ann Dickson of the Marion Community Christmas Committee wish to thank everyone who helped make our Christmas program a success this year. The Winter Concerts presented by the Marion Schools were entertaining, and they continue a musical tradition our community can look forward to each year. Generous contributions given by businesses, churches, organizations, and individuals made it possible for us to provide food certificates, food baskets and gifts to 58 needy families, including 142 children. In addition, volunteers delivered 127 poinsettias to senior citizens, shut-ins, and patients of local nursing homes and hospitals. Sharing good will through the Community Christmas Program is one way to give meaning to the holidays. Thanks again. The Women's Guild at the United Church met Tuesday at the home of Lila Shoales in Williamson.
