Concert this Saturday in Newark

The Jacobs Brothers of Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, will appear at a free concert in Central Park, Newark on July 5 at 6 p.m.

If weather is inclement, concert moves to First United Methodist Church, 301 Main Street.

The Jacobs Brothers, veterans in gospel music, are dedicated to the ministry of spreading the Gospel through music. Since 1962, the group has traveled millions of miles, produced more than fifty albums, and hosted many international tours.

Presently the Jacobs Brothers' weekly television program is seen by many central Pennsylvanians on WGCB-TV, Channel 49, Red Lion, PA. The King's Kids' Camp, another branch of their ministry, brings thousands of people to central Pennsylvania each summer to hear Gospel music and also provides a Christian camping experience for many underprivileged children.

Although they specialize in traditional and sacred music, their approach to the Gospel is varied. The end result is a program which is appealing to the young as well as to the older members of the audience. Bring your lawn chairs.
