Happenings
By Carolyn Adriaansen (926.4436)

I've had some interesting phone calls about the location of SEARS homes. Now, I've got to mark my road map and track down these special homes.

The air conditioner has arrived for the Marion Museum. It should be comfortable when the museum is open on Saturday, July 12 for the reunion of the former Sand Hill School students.

Kim Cornwell has undergone recent surgery.

I had another call the other day about the negatives from Orbaker's Studio. Yes, we still have them. Call me if you are interested in those of your family.

After our 4th of July family dinner on the patio, we assembled in the air conditioned living room. The thermometer in the front garden registered at 119 degrees!

Hunneybear's had a nice celebration over the holiday weekend. The first annual Craft Show was a big success, though the weekend was steamy.

July 10, 1908: About 300 passengers were carried over the Newark and Marion RR on special trains on July 4.

Congratulations to great-grandparents, Jake and Jennie Hubright on the birth of Jackson Quinn Tellier on July 2, 2003. Also, congratulations to proud parents, Andrew and Courtney and to grandparents, Norm and Nancy Tellier.

Diane Magde is recuperating following surgery.
