Historic reading at the old jail
By John Zornow

Dr. Randy Mitchell (William Fee), Pam Hannan (Georgia Sampson) and Dr. David Hannan (Jeremiah Collins).

A short play (Spirits of Butternut Street) by local author T.J. Spencer was the basis for a 'reunion' of some of Wayne County's most famous, and notorious, residents.

Train robber Oliver Curtis Perry, murderer William Fee, murder suspect Georgia Sampson, and the Wayne County Sheriff, Jeremiah Collins, entertained and educated those fortunate to have viewed the readings from one of the few seats in the Old Jail at the Wayne County Museum in Lyons.
