Scarlet Thread Center has wish list

Scarlet Thread Ministries is making plans to open its Student Center on a daily after-school basis (3-6 p.m.) as a drop-in center for middle and high school students.

The Center will offer tutoring, music lessons, mentoring and recreation.

Needed items (new or like new)- Call Kim at 483.0240.

Couches or chairs, beanbag chairs, board games (appropriate for ages 11-19), building materials such as 2 x 4's and drywall, vending machines - drink or snack, patio set, computers - P3 or better, computer desks, networking equipment, office furniture - desks, chairs, bookcases, cubicles, card tables, basketball court, basketballs and volleyballs, leftover paint, bright colors (not older than six months), van to transport students, enclosed trailer to haul equipment, volunteers to help with tutoring, music lessons, mentoring, game systems - PS, PS2, Gamecube, Xbox, video games for PS, PS2, Gamecube, XBox, TV's, TV stands, Foosball, ping pong balls and paddles, pool table, pool cues and balls, air hockey, area rugs.
