Fun on the links helps Newark VFW

A day of fun and competition will be held August 9 at Big Oak Golf Course, Geneva. The event is run by the Newark VFW Post 2883. It includes 18 holes of golf, hole-in-one and closest-to-the-pin contests.

Money raised will benefit the NYS VFW Children's Home. Entry fee is $55 per person. A hole-in-one in #7 could win you $5000!

Golf plus beverages and dinner. Deadline is July 30. Mail checks to VFW Post 2883, 225 East Union St., Newark 14513.
