Newark student gets perfect score
Every year, New York State requires that fourth grade students take standardized tests in math science and ELA (English Language Arts.) It is not unusual for some of St. Michael's students to achieve high scores on these tests. A rare occurrence for any school is a perfect score or a test with no errors. This year, Kelly Eberle of Newark had a perfect score on her ELA exam.
Kelly is the daughter of Alex and Michelle Devens. Her teacher this year was Mrs. Daisy Ruffalo.
Principal David Doty took Kelly out to lunch to congratulate her on her unique achievement. They are pictured in Bee Tee's in Newark.
