Football camp in Newark The Alex Eligh Community Center will host a football camp on June 14 at the Newark High School. Coach Mike McGavisk and his football staff will be in charge, and grades 6-12 athletes may participate. The fee is $20 and should be made payable to the Alex Eligh Community Center. Camp sheets available at Newark Middle School (Chris Hagger), the high school (Mike McGavisk, 331.2275) or at the community center. Camp hours are 8 to noon; noon to 1 is lunch and swimming; Camp from 1-3 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome.
