Learn to make baskets

A Basket Making Workshop is planned at Crowfield Farm in Arcadia on Saturday, June 14 from 9 until 5.

Cost for the workshop is $50, which includes all materials. Registration is needed by June 9.

Darrel Birchenough will be teaching how to weave a basket using all natural materials. Students will learn about gathering materials and the full process of creating a basket. All materials will be provided. Each student will have the opportunity to make their own basket by the end of the course.

This event is hosted by Sanctuary at Crowfield Farm, which operates as a not-for-profit education center offering workshops, internships, retreats, and activities that honor and nurture self, community, and the earth. Crowfield Farm is at 6890 Pulver Road in Arcadia.
