Gallery at the Point is open

'Gallery at the Point' has opened its doors for business. It is located at 8515D Greig Street, in Sodus Point, a new venture by a group of artists from Ontario, Palmyra, Sodus Point, Walworth and Williamson.

The Gallery includes traditional and nontraditional fine art in the oil, watercolor, pastel, mixed media and drawing mediums, along with photography, prints, jewelry, three-dimensional art, and greeting cards.

The Gallery has the backing of the Wayne County Council for the Arts. The artists involved are: John Domm of Ontario, with his innovative digital photography; Sue Diedrich, with animal photography and local scenes of Sodus Point; Susan Hubbard, of Williamson, with great wildlife and nature photography; Chris Fayad, of Sodus, and Kay McCune, of Ontario, specializing in watercolors; Kathy Fedison, of Ontario, handmade jewelry using natural stones and fetishes; Demaris Frantz, of Walworth, photography and watercolors; Marge Wilkins, of Palmyra, wonderful whimsical 3D animals and pencil drawings; Sharon Woolever, of Ontario, specializing in abstracts and mixed media art.
