AHS strawberry social is June 28

The Arcadia Historical Society's 9th Annual Old-Fashioned Strawberry Social will be held on a new date - Saturday, June 28, from noon to 4 p.m., on the lawn of the Arcadia Museum, 120 High St., Newark. The rain date will be Sunday, June 29.

Live music will be provided by The Avant-garde String Quartet. Proceeds benefit the Arcadia Historical Society & Museum's programs. The museum will be open during the social, featuring the new exhibit, 'Remember our Name! Newark Businesses in an Advertising Frenzy, 1880-1960's.
