Photo show, contest at the Lighthouse

As a testament to the beauty of Wayne County and the Sodus Bay area, the Sodus Bay Historical Society is sponsoring the fourth annual photo show and competition.

This is an amateur contest that kicks off on July 4 and runs through the summer with the deadline for entries being Sunday, August 24 at 5.

Each entrant may submit up to three photographs in each category. Photos may be black & white or color. All entries must be at least 5x7 or larger, matted or mounted and ready to be hung.

A panel of judges, made up of professional and Lighthouse committee members will judge the entries, with prizes awarded at the final Sunday concert at the Lighthouse, on August 31.

• People Having Fun in Wayne County (Festivities, Parades, and Performances)
• Scenic Sodus Bay/ Floral and Fauna
• Historic Buildings of Wayne County.
