Coin Club meets July 2 in Newark

The Wayne County Coin Club will meet at the American Legion Hall in Newark on July 2 at 7 p.m.

This meeting will include a discussion of the plans for the coming show and will feature an auction of coins and paper money as well as tokens, medals and wooden nickels. Anyone interested in collecting, or just learning more about the hobby, is welcome. The club also welcomes sellers of coins, paper money, especially the early paper money of the Wayne County area, and there are even buyers for wooden nickels.

The Club will hold a coin show at the American Legion Hall, Newark on Sunday, September 28, from 10 to 4. Not only will collectors have the opportunity to buy, sell or trade coins and paper money with dealers from the central New York area but also have the opportunity to view some of the coin club members collections. Several educational videos produced by the American Numismatic Association will also be shown during show hours.
