Lyons Rotary News

The Lyons Rotary Club had a change-over picnic on June 25 at the VFW. President Rick Hoyt passed the 'President's Pin' to Dick Vandermark for the 2003-04 year. The Lyons Rotary is active in the community with service projects and supports many events, charities, and scholarships, as well as the national drive to wipe out polio.

President Elect is Linda Shaffer, Vice President Joseph Snell, Secretary Anthony Paliotti, Treasurer Dianna Marro, Sergeant at Arms Steve Sklenar and Publicity Director Alan Whitcomb.

Lyons 'Rotarian of the Year' Bill Gavitt, Sr. was honored for his 40 years plus service to Rotary and the community. The Club meets every Wednesday at 6:05 p.m. at Trombino's in Lyons.
