Lyons church will serve breakfast

The Lyons United Methodist Church will offer breakfast every Sunday morning at 9:15 beginning March 2. Everyone is invited. Sometimes it will be a hot breakfast with eggs or pancakes. Other times it will be cereal and fruit. But there will always be plenty to eat.

Breakfast will be followed by music time and then Sunday School for everyone at 9:45. Worship service begins at 11. Child care for toddlers is provided during Sunday School and Worship service so all adults can participate.

This new culinary ministry is an outreach of the Christian Education Committee.

The Lyons United Methodist Church is located on the corner of William Street and Queen Street in the heart of Lyons. It is the church with the clock tower, a famous, and much-loved, landmark in the town.

For more information on the Christian faith, the church, or its programs, call Pastor Cassandra Salter-Smith at 946.6035.
