Iraqi war prompts services in Lyons Before Operation Iraqi Freedom was launched last night, the Inter-Church Council of Lyons had already planned an ecumenical worship service at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church tonight (Thursday, March 20) at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to bring a votive candle (in a holder/container). St. Michael's is located at corner of Phelps (Route 14) and Holley Streets in Lyons. Deborah Housel, the pastoral administrator for St. Michael's will preach. Also, the Interchurch Council of Lyons is asking for the names of service personnel from Lyons so that there can be prayers for them and for their families.
