Lyons and peppermint

learn more Hotchkiss Peppermint & Lyons will be the topic Wednesday (April 2) at the History at Noon session at the Old Jail Museum, Butternnut St., Lyons. The speaker for the 12:05 presentation is Dick Kelley.

Kelley, a bottle collector and authority on the Hotchkiss Peppermint Business, will briefly review the history of the peppermint industry in the United States and then focus on the significant role Lyons resident H. G. Hotchkiss played as Peppermint King.

Participants may bring a lunch; coffee and cookies, supplied by Zappia Vending Service and the Wayne County Historical Society, will be served.
