Penny Social in Lyons Historic Grace Episcopal Church will hold its annual Penny Social next Friday, May 16, at 6 p.m. For a donation of $5, guests are entitled to a 'do-it-yourself' ice cream sundae and 25 tickets to bid on items donated by parishioners and local merchants. Items on which to bid include baked goods, wine, games, toys, household items, etc. Each year the proceeds are earmarked for a scholarship given by the church. The recipient is a high school graduating senior who has been active in the life of the church.
