So far, the weather hasn't scared Betty and Ralph Everdyke back to Florida, so we're doing pretty well.

Michael White had a nice birthday... his mother had to stand in a long line for about 15 minutes so she could pick up his test book for his driver's permit. (I don't know about you other moms, but the idea of my l6-year-old behind the wheel of my car is scary. I know everyone does it, but it's still scary.)

Got a garden you're not sure what to do with it? Do your kids have a wagon stashed in the shed or garage just sitting there collecting stuff? Put it in your garden, plant some flowers around it and a couple of pots of plants inside and voila.

The last couple of weekends were busy with all the carnivals, festivals and lots of other events. If you went to any of them, write to me and let me know how much fun you had.

Have a great Holiday weekend and enjoy each other's company. Since the weather has been cool it's a good time to add mulch to your garden (no hot sun to deal with). Not yet.
