Clyde Scouts help beautify park

Officials in Clyde have written to recognize the leadership of the Girl Scouts' Pam Gabbard and associated leaders of troops #649, 301, 291 and 897 who have taken interest in Village Park beautification. Gabbard had requested if the Girl Scouts could plant the flowers in the Park and work on a project badge. A layout plan was prepared by the Scouts to encompass six areas of the park in which the flowers would be planted by type, and submitted to the Village Board.

On Friday, May 23, the planting took place just in time for the Memorial Day observance. Chamber member and faithful volunteer Angel Berrios has volunteered to care for the flowers by seeing that the six beds are watered.
