Sharp is manager of Newark HSBC

Pamela Sharp has been named assistant vice president and manager of HSBC's Newark branch, located at 100 Church Street.

Sharp started her career at HSBC in 1973 and has held a variety of positions including serving as a customer service representative trainer. She has worked in several branches over the years as well as in the business development area.

Most recently, she served as manager of the Charlotte office in the Rochester district, which was consolidated into a nearby branch.

She is an active volunteer with several organizations, including United Way of Wayne County, Girl Scouts, Chamber of Commerce and Newark Rotary Club.

A Wayne County resident for 35 years, she graduated from East High in Rochester. She and her husband, David Jarlenski, are building a new home in Waterloo.
