Recital at Williamson church

The sanctuary of the Williamson Presbyterian Church will be the setting for a recital by local musicians on Sunday, November 30.

The 3 p.m. concert will feature Drew Frech, Gail Verbridge and George Giroux. Frech (of Sodus) is the current U.S. Banjo Champion. Verbridge, from Williamson, accompanies him on piano, 5-string banjo and cello banjo. They have been performing together since 1991 and play and sing to enthusiastic audiences throughout North America.

Giroux has tickled the ivories for many years and was the director of music in Williamson until 1988.
