Newark sets hearing on dogs The Newark Village Board has scheduled a Public Hearing on a proposed modification to Chapter 52 - Animals of the Newark Village Code for Tuesday, December 16, at 7:05 p.m. in the second-floor court room of the Municipal Building located at 100 East Miller Street, Newark. The purpose of the meeting is to hear public comment on a proposal to define the term 'habitual' as it pertains to barking dogs. Copies of the proposed modification are available in the office of the Clerk/Treasurer between the hours of 8:30 and 4:30, Monday through Friday, holidays excepted, located on the third floor of the Municipal Building.
