Infant and child CPR in Newark

The American Red Cross is offering an Infant and Child CPR course on Tuesday, December 9 and Wednesday, December 10 from 6-9 p.m. at 165 East Union Street in Newark.

This course teaches participants to:

• Identify how to reduce the risk of injury to infants and children.
• Recognize the signs and symptoms of a breathing or cardiac emergency.
• Learn how to care for an infant or child who has stopped breathing.
• Learn how to care for an infant or child who is choking.

Identify how to use your community's Emergency Medical Services (EMS) system effectively. Class size is limited. Registration and pre-payment are required. For additional information, call American Red Cross at 331.3783.
