Take Newark's Cemetery Walk

The Arcadia Historical Society will present an Historic Cemetery Walk with live actors on Friday, Oct. 17 (6 p.m.) and Saturday, Oct. 18 (2 p.m.), with walks every 15 minutes. Rain dates will be one week later.

The event will be held at Newark Cemetery on North Main St. Nine actors will portray prominent and interesting residents of Newark, by the actual grave site.

Tickets will be available after October 1 at the Arcadia Museum, and at the gate, at $5/person or $10/family.

Bring a flashlight for the evening walk. The historic mausoleum will be featured on the afternoon tour. Introductions will be given to each tour group in the Harriet Nichols Memorial Chapel. Parking is available in the lot across the street.
