Steel band will play in Lyons

On Thursday, October 16 at 7 p.m. at the Grace Parish House in Lyons, the Library will host a performance by the Panloco Steel Band.

Panloco, which is based in Geneseo, performs a variety of music on the steel drums. The band features Caribbean calypsos, socas and also demonstrates jazz, classical and pop styles on these versatile instruments. The program is free and open to the public.

This is part of the FACES II (Family Appreciation of Cultural Experience Series) program. FACES II is made possible in part with funds from the New York State Council on the Arts. For more information call the library at 946.9262.
